Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell sat down for a rare joint interview last week with “60 Minutes” at a time when few Americans think the Senate can accomplish much of anything.
But if you scratch just past the cries of gridlock and dysfunction, you’ll find something else is happening in the Senate: It’s working — albeit incrementally.
